Suhana Thapa, an emerging actor in the Nepali film industry is the talk of the town these days. Her work has garnered appreciation for the debut movie ‘A Mero Hajur -3’. She shared the silver screen with popular actor Anmol KC.

Most might believe ‘A Mero Hajur -3’ is Suhana’s first movie as an actor. But, it’s not. She stepped into Nepali movie fraternity as a child artist in ‘A Mero Hajur’ back in 2002. “Yes, ‘A Mero Hajur was my first movie, but I hardly remember it since I was very young,” Suhana reminisced.

Suhana is a producer first, then an actor. Her first production is ‘A Mero Hajur 2.’ “Honestly, my dad had named me the producer of the movie. I also was involved in post-production, casting, and scripting which is simple,” she shared.

Talking about her inspiration, Suhana states that she is Lord Krishna’s devotee. She even has displayed  Krishna's picture on her Instagram. “My biggest inspiration is that I’m the biggest bhakta (devotee) of Krishna,” she said.

According to her mother, Jharana Thapa—actor-turned-director, Suhana is a funny, talkative and troublesome girl. Her maternal uncle called her ‘Monkey.’

She lamented that she could hardly give time to Suhana. “Since her childhood, she stayed in a hostel. She later went to the USA for graduation. So, she rarely spent time with her parents, especially with her mother,” Jharana said.
