Founded two years ago, the community-based hospital is the only heart hospital in the region. As kidney and heart are interdependent, we have been providing the service for the benefit of the locals, said Medical Superintendent Dr Sameer Gautam.
The hospital has been presently receiving 30 to 40 patients in a day to avail of the kidney test service. Of the 211 people who took the test so far, 10 per cent were found with kidney-related ailments, Dr Gautam said.
The kidney treatment center at the hospital was established with an investment of Rs 1.5 million, according to Chairman of the Hospital Management Committee Ejaj Alam. RSS
