KATHMANDU, Feb 25: A German national aged 21 was discovered dead in Kaski district.
The deceased has been identified as Pla Josse who went missing on Saturday. Her lifeless body was found in Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality-1, Mirsa, Kaski by a disaster rescue team of the Armed Police Force on Sunday.

Her American companion reported that she fell from a cliff when they were returning to Pokhara from Machhapuchhre.
The local police were alerted on Saturday evening about the incident. A search and rescue team comprising 15 members was deployed from Kaski ballation of Armed Police Force.
DSP Shailendra Thapa, co-spokesperson for the Armed Police Force, said that efforts were underway to retrieve the girl’s body from the cliff using a rope.
The American youth has been taken into custody by the police for further investigation.
