KATHMANDU, Dec 6: Teen sensation Gaurika Singh has won her second gold at the South Asian Games on Friday.
On the second day of swimming at the Satdobato Swimming Complex, Singh, competing in the women’s 200 meters backstroke event, clocked 2:17.73 minutes to win her second gold medal in the SAG.

Singh’s closest competitor was India’s Manna Rajiv Patel, who clocked 2:20.71 winning the silver medal. Likewise,Sri Lanka’s Ganga S D Sen Malwaththage claimed the bronze medal with a timing of 2:27.25 minutes.
Earlier on Thursday Singh won her maiden SAG medal competing in the women’s 200 meters freestyle event, clocked 2:05.06 minutes.
