108 gas bullets out of 208 that are marooned some five kilometers from Raxaul Bazaar will be brought to Kathmandu.
Among them, 84 gas bullets will enter Nepal through Sunauli border point, while remaining will be brought through other checkpoints, said source at Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC).
Those gas bullets have received customs clearance from both India and Nepal.
“The demand of cooking gas can be addressed if those bullets are rerouted and brought to Kathmandu,” said Chairman of LPG Industry Association Shiva Prasad Ghimire,” adding that 270,000 cooking gas cylinders (weighing 7.1 kg) can be refilled from 108 gas bullets.
