The restaurant was developed with an investment of around Rs 85 million and offers world cuisine, including Indian, Nepali, Oriental and Mediterranean among others. "The versatile space at the restaurant makes it a choice for all types of dinning occasion from a business breakfast to an informal launch or intimate dinner," the five-star hotel said in a statement on Friday.
Located at the lobby level, Garden Terrace offers stylish and cotemporary all-day dining with spectacular garden view. Besides, it is designed with exquisite contemporary interior and features environment friendly lighting fixtures.
The new restaurant serves dishes made straight from the live kitchen in hot section and offers wide selection of salad in cold selection. “Our customers will be able to enjoy from extensive wine rack, freshly brewed coffees, varieties of tea, choice of refreshing international cocktails and mocktails,” the statement added.
With the operation of Garden Terrace, the number of restaurants at the hotel has reached four, including separate restaurants for Italian, Chinese and Indian cuisine.
“We are extremely proud of our new restaurant which will redefine the meaning of live cooking and buffet service in Kathmandu,” Vini K. Gupta, general manager of the hotel, said in the statement.
He further added that the hotel has used expertise from food and beverage team of India and Singapore to bring a blend of world wide cuisines, which, he said, will give the guests more than just something to talk about.
The restaurant will cater to both the in-house guests and locals, according to Sony Chaudhary, assistant manager-marketing and public relation at Soaltee Crowne Plaza.
