Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage has joined the cast of The Hunger Games and will be featured in the upcoming prequel ‘The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes’.
The prequel is being adapted from a dystopian action-adventure novel titled ‘The Ballad of Songbirds and snakes’ by American author Suzanne Collins released on May 19, 2020.

In the prequel, Dinklage will play the role of Casca Highbottom and will be joined with other co-stars Tom Blyth as young Coriolanus Snow, Rachel Zegler as Lucy Gray Baird and Hunter Schafer as Tigris Snow.
The prequel will be directed by Francis Lawrence, and will be produced under Lionsgate production by Nina Jacobson and her producing partner Brad Simpson, along with Francis Lawrence. Suzanne Collins, Tim Palen, and Jim Miller will serve as executive producers.
Dinklage is best known for playing Tyrion Lannister in the hit HBO show 'Game of Thrones'. He has also featured in movies such as 'The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian', 'Death at a Funeral', 'X-Men: Days of Future Past', 'Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri' and 'I Care A Lot'.
The prequel is set to hit the theaters on November 17, 2023.
