Gachchhadar wants to lead the govt

SIRAHA, Jan 19: Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar said he can resolve current political crisis if he is given to lead the government.



Speaking at a program in Siraha today, the deputy prime minister claimed that he was only alternative to the present Baburam Bhattarai-led government. "The alternative to the present government is my leadership," Gachchhadar said. [break]



He also said that the leaders of various political parties have failed to institutionalize historic achievements of the people´s movements time and again.
