Gachchhadar's appointment against party's statute: NC leader KC

KATHMANDU, Nov 16: Nepali Congress leader Arjun Narsingh KC accused party President Sher Bahadur Deuba of violating the party's statute by appointing Bijaya Kumar Gachchhadar to the post of vice president.

KATHMANDU, Nov 16: Nepali Congress leader Arjun Narsingh KC accused party President Sher Bahadur Deuba of violating the party's statute by appointing Bijaya Kumar Gachchhadar to the post of vice president. 


"I am content with the Gachchhdar's appointment. But the way he was nominated is wrong. The statute should have been amended before nominating him," he said speaking at a programme organised at Reporter's Club in the Capital on Friday.

He expressed ignorance about the agenda for the central working committee's meeting scheduled on Saturday. "How can we put forth our views in the meeting without any agenda?" he questioned.
