Fuzz Factory Productions to present the music of Janakpur

Fuzz Factory Productions, with the support of Prince Claus Fund and the British Council, will be releasing a new episode of their music documentary, Fuzzscape, this Saturday via Youtube. The documentary is a musical collaboration of musicians Ranzen Jha, Rajan Shrestha, and Rohit Shakya. A press statement issued by Fuzz Factory Productions further states that Janakpur was chosen for this episode citing the historic and cultural significance of the region.

Fuzzscape is a music documentary project which explores the different culture, and communities of Nepal to create music that responds to their experiences of the spaces. During the process, the music artists in the team collaborate with musicians of the visited sites and create new music that is inspired by traditional and culturally significant music and or by the space itself.


Till date, the team has journeyed to Kavre, Sermanthang, Birgunj, and Bhojpur and what have come out of the travels is a series of short documentaries that talk about the community, culture and the arts of the different areas.
