“As a kid, I was very good at gymnastics. Later, I developed an interest in folk dancing. Eventually in college, I joined a Latin dance club which helped me explore this field. Dancing is my love of life,” said a beaming Burcu.
She further added, “Back home, I teach fulltime and have volunteered to train and teach in many other countries. But this is my first official workshop outside Turkey.”
The dancer plans on adding a bit of flavor to the usual dancing by trying out something new, like fusing local beats with foreign moves. The classes being held will be grouped at four levels, each level compromising three months. Singles and couples are both welcome to join.
