French companies interested in Urban Cable Care project

KATHMANDU, June 20: French Ambassador to Nepal Yves Carmona has apprised Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba that French companies are interested in developing Kathmandu Urban Cable Car project.

During his courtesy call on Prime Minister Deuba on Monday, the French envoy explained in details about the interest shown by French companies in doing business with Nepal. According to a press statement issued by the Embassy of France in Kathmandu, Ambassador Carmona congratulated Prime Minister on his new responsibility and also on the progress made by Nepal in regards to the elections.


He also reiterated France's support to Nepal's peaceful democratic process. On the occasion, Prime Minister Deuba asked the French envoy to convey his congratulations to the newly-elected French President Emmanuel Macron and thanked France for its support after the earthquake of 2015.
