Free computer hardware training in three districts

GALKOT, April 13: A 265-hour free computer hardware training kicked off Friday simultaneously in three districts.


The training organised by the Dhawalagiri Deaf Secondary School, Baglung, is financially assisted by the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training covers Parbat and Myagdi districts besides Baglung.

As said by school principal Resham Bahadur Shrish, the training aims to encourage youths to seek employment opportunities at home by providing them technical knowledge and skills. Twenty participants have been shortlisted from each district, said trainer Ananta Bijay Shrestha. The CTEVT says it is investing Rs 18,000 for each participant.
