KATHMANDU, Sept 23: A four-year-old girl tragically drowned in the Gahana Pokhari near Tokha Bazar, located in Tokha Municipality-6.

The victim, Gurans Sahani, originally from Jitpur, Simara Sub-Metropolitan City-3, Bara, was living with her mother, Durga Sahani, at Jalpa Chowk in Tokha-8. She drowned in the pond on Sunday afternoon, and despite rescue efforts, the girl passed away later that night, according to police reports.
