Four people arrested for posting statuses to protest PM’s program

KATHMANDU, Feb 25: Police have arrested four individuals for campaigning on social media to protest against a program in which Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is participating on social media. Nepal Medical College and Teaching Hospital in Jorpati, Kathmandu, is celebrating its silver jubilee on Tuesday. Prime Minister Oli has arrived to address the program.



Kathmandu Police have detained four people who had written on social media about opposing PM Oli at the event.

According to the police, the arrested individuals have been identified as Kiran KC, Raju Sunuwar, Rajesh Dahal and Mohan Singh.
