Four parties discuss ways to speed up constitution writing

KATHMANDU, July 5: The leaders of the four major political parties on Saturday discussed the ways to speed up the constitution writing process.

In the meeting held at Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar late in the evening, the senior leaders held consultation on finalizing the draft of the constitution by incorporating the sentiments of various political parties.

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala, Vice President Ram Chandra Poudel, senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba, CPN (UML) Chairman KP Sharma Oli, leader Agni Kharel, UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Madhesi Janadhikar Forum Democratic Chairman Bijaya Kumar Gachchadar.
