Four killed, seven injured in Sindhuli road mishap

SINDHULI, March 16: At least four persons died and seven others were injured when a jeep veered off the road at Karam Danda of Sindhuli’s Kamalamai Municipality-7.

The  passenger jeep (Ba 17 Cha 1117), bound to Baskateri of Kamalamai-7 from Sindhuli Madi Bazar, fell some 40 meters off the road.

All four died on the spot, according to DSP at Sindhuli District Police Office, Manoj Kumar Lama. He also shared that the injured passengers were sent to Dhulikhel, Kavre for treatment.

The deceased and injured are yet to be identified. “As we are busy in the rescue operation, we are yet to identify the victims of the accident,” Lama added.
