Four killed in two separate accidents in Pyuthan, nine injured

PYUTHAN, Jan 27: Three persons were killed on the spot and nine others injured when a JCB dozer used in digging a road stretch at Kolbot of Dangwang – 6 overturned this morning. 

The dozer was returning after the day's work at the village when a 'break failure' triggered the accident, local of the area, Hari Magar said. 

The deceased have been identified as assistant driver, Deepak Gaha Magar of an estimated 17 years of age, Shesh Kant Acharya, 20, and Gyanendra Bahadur Gaha Magar, 13, said Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Ranjeet Singh Rathore, of District Police Office, Pyuthan. 

Among the injured, three are being treated at Amarai area while six have been referred to Bhairahawa. 

Meanwhile, a person died when a tractor (Ra 1 Ta 1322) fell into Kagpapi river at Gothibang – 4 yesterday. 

Tractor's assistant driver, Mukta Bahadur Budhathoki, 22, died on the spot in the accident, District Police Office, Pyuthan said. RSS
