Four persons including Indian national Naim, Prabhu Saha of Birgunj and Mukesh Kumar of Birgunj and Sikandar Prasad of Bara were apprehended with four cane hashish this morning, informed police inspector Dal Bahadur Bogati.
Road obstructed
SURKHET, Sept. 24: The Baddichaur-Chepang agriculture road has been obstructed due to landslides in various parts of the road section caused by incessant rain.
The road has been closed within a month of its construction due to landslides. The road was constructed with the fund Rs. 1.1 million from local Kalika community forest, Rs. 450,000 from Village Development Committee, Rs. 500,000 from District Development Committee and 25- day kind labour of Chepangs.
With the disruption of the road, it has been difficult to move to and from the village and reach local products to market, said secretary of road construction committee Kamal Thapa.
32 injured in road accident
CHITWAN, Sept 24: At least 32 people injured when a bus and truck collided in Manahari Village Development Committee (VDC) of Makawanpur.
Some 11 of the injured were critically injured in the accident that took place this morning. The bus en route to Jhapa from Kathmandu was collided with a truck coming from opposite direction. The injured are being treated in College of Medical Sciences in Bharatpur.
Police raid hashish factory in Dhading
