Three youths died when two motorcycles collided in Panipiya, Hansposa VDC at around eight in the evening. Prem Chaudhari, 20, and Shukra Ramtel, 30, of Itahari-1 and Gaurav Rai, 26, of Sonapur breathed their last while undergoing treatment at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS), Dharan.
Shukra Rai, 29, of Sonapur is still undergoing treatment at the BPKIHS following the collision between a motorcycle (Ko 4 Pa 1734) coming toward Itahari from Dharan and another (Ko 7 Pa 7972) heading Dharan from Itahari.
Meanwhile Kavita Mochi, 17, of Madhesha-1 died of snake bite while being treated at Sunsari District Hospital, Inaruwa.
Man run over by train
JANAKPUR, Oct 23: A man lost his life after being run over by a train Saturday afternoon.
Ramesh Sah, 22, of Janakpur-16, Kapileshwar had fallen while trying to board the moving train coming to Janakpur from Jayanagar and was run over by a cargo compartment near Khajuri Station at noon. An 18-year-old youth had similarly died on Tuesday while trying to board the moving train.
