The tractor, laden with consumer goods, was en route to Hastichaur from the district headquarters Tamghas.
The deceased have been identified as the tractor driver Baikuntha Bahadur Mukhiya, 19, of Hastichaur-6, Tirtha Bahadur Khatri, 65, of Hastichaur-3, Chandra Bahadur Kunwar, 58, and Juddha Mukhiya, 26, informed Sailendra Kumar Bhatta, acting police chief at the District Police Office, Gulmi.
The injured has been receiving treatment at the District Hospital in Tamghas.
Police are yet to ascertain the cause of the mishap. However, police suspect over-speeding led to the accident.
