Paudel claimed that the parties have not been able to reach an agreement on ending the political deadlock because the Maoists have given more priority to formation of government than to peace process and writing of a democratic constitution.
He also reiterated the party´s stance that he would not withdraw his candidacy for prime minister unless the parties strike a package deal on all contentious political issues.
The meeting of the parliamentary party also expressed its concern over the delay in management of Maoist combatants.
It also asked the government to take initiative to bring the budget, expressing its concern over likely financial crisis due to lack of budget.
