MYAGDI, June 7: Police arrested four for vandalizing the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Beni Distribution Center for enforcing power outage for more than eight hours for past three days.
The group of locals who went to the NEA office to stage a sit in after electricity did not come back till late Tuesday night resorted to vandalizing the office, District Police Office said.
Some individuals went inside the office at 10 pm and vandalized telephone sets and four window panes.
Police arrested Ram Bahadur Thapa, Hari Bahadur Shakya, Dillip Baruwal and Ganga Thapa for vandalizing the NEA office, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bir Bahadr Budhamagar said.
Among the arrestees, Shakya is RPP's elected member of District Coordination Committee. RSS
