BHOJPUR, Oct 1: The foundation stone for the building of an eye hospital in Dabali Taksar in Bhojpur district was laid amid a program held here on Friday.
Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Masashi Ogawa and Nepali Congress Central Committee member Gyanendra Bahadur Karki jointly laid the foundation stone.
The construction of the building, which is to be built with the financial assistance worth Rs 10 million from the government of Japan, would be completed within a year, according to Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh, Bhojpur Branch.
Speaking in a press conference organized after laying foundation stone, Japanese envoy to Nepal Ogawa reaffirmed that Japan has given high priority to Nepal in areas of cooperation. RSS
