Former PM Thapa's body at Dasharath stadium for tribute

KATHMANDU, April 17: The body of founder President of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) and former Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa has been kept at Dasharath Stadium for final tribute on Friday.

RPP Chairman Pashupati Shumsher Rana covered the body with party's flag.

Vice President Parmanandha Jha, Finance Minister Dr Ram Sharan Mahat, Minister for Forest and Soil Conservation Mahesh Acharya, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Wu Chuntai, Nepali Congress youth leaders and CA member duo Gagan Thapa and Udaya Shumsher Rana, among others, had paid tribute to the late Thapa.


Leaders and cadres of various political parties had reached to the party office at Chabahil and Thapa's residence at Maligaun for paying their tributes.
