Former PM Nepal to visit Jaffna

KATHMANDU, July 5: Nepal´s former Prime Minister and Senior Leader of the CPN-UML, Madhav Kumar Nepal, will reach Jaffna, the capital city of the Northern Province of Sri Lanka, on July 6. [break]



Sri Lanka´s national newspaper Daily News on Friday reported that leader Nepal will participate in the Jaffna District celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the Communist Party of Sri Lanka to be held at the Co-operative Hall, Jaffna at 2.30 p.m. on the same day. Sri Lankan Senior Minister for Human Resources DEW Gunasekara and Rehabilitation and Prison Reforms Minister Chandrasiri Gajadheera will also participate in the programme, Daily news reported.
