KATHMANDU, Nov 12: Former Minister for Land Reform, Bhim Prasad Gautam has passed away.
Gautam, who had served as a minister in Dr Baburam Bhattarai-led Cabinet breathed his last at his Piple, Tanahu-based residence at around 2:30 AM on Thursday.
He was suffering from pneumonia for the last few days and was receiving treatment at his home.
Gautam was a member of the first Constituent Assembly of Nepal.
His final rites will be performed on Thursday itself, according to his family source.
