KATHMANDU, Jan 24: Sunil Paudel, the former managing director of Nepal Telecom, and Bikal Paudel, the former executive director of Security Printing Center (SPC), have been arrested.
According to a high-ranking source at the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Bikal Paudel and Sunil Paudel were arrested by the CIAA after they did not appear when they were called for recording their statements in connection with investigations into illegal wealth acquisition.

A corruption case has already been filed against both of them. In that connection, a complaint of illegal property acquisition was also lodged against them. The CIAA has prepared to present both of them before the Special Court tomorrow.
