Nepal National and International Players Association (NNIPA), National Sports Council Employees Association (NSCEA) and National Olympian Association (NOA) made such a demand during a joint press conference at the National Sports Council (NSC).[break]
The associations have also warned of stern protests if their demands are not met promptly.
The associations have made the demand at a time when the dispute between the internationally recognized Nepal Olympic Committee and NSC has reached its peak. All these three institutions are backed by the National Sports Council and NOA formed four years earlier was registered with NSC on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has also reinstated the old NOC headed by Rukma Sumsher Rana which ends the legitimacy of internationally recognized committee headed by Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan.
"We want both the committees be united into one," said Deepak Bista, the president of NNIPA. "We are not becoming puppet of anyone but working solely for the benefit of players. We have now united to raise the issues of players."
Narayan Dev Rana, the president of NSCEA and Sunil Lal Joshi, the president of NOA spoke on behalf of their respective institutions.
Producing a expenditure report of NOC, they accused radhan headed committee of massive corruption.
They have also demanded that the NOC make the expenditure made during the Beijing Olympic in 2008 public.
They have claimed that IOC provides $ 1700 per players for the participation in Olympics but NOC gave the players only $ 500. Similarly, the coaches who were entitled to $ 80 from IOC got only $ 20. Similarly, they have claimed that each player was given $ 510 during Youth Olympics while they showed expenses of $ 6,040.
