KATHMANDU, Dec 28: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today, Sunday. As per today’s rates, the value of the US dollar has increased again. According to the rates set by the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar stands at Rs 143.47, while the selling rate is Rs 144.07.
Similarly, the buying rate for one European euro has been fixed at Rs 168.99 and the selling rate at Rs 169.69. The UK pound sterling is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 193.58 and a selling rate of Rs 194.39. The Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 181.73 for buying and Rs 182.49 for selling.

The Australian dollar is priced at Rs 96.18 for buying and Rs 96.58 for selling. The Canadian dollar stands at a buying rate of Rs 104.87 and a selling rate of Rs 105.31. Likewise, the Singapore dollar has been fixed at Rs 111.74 for buying and Rs 112.20 for selling.
For the Japanese yen, the buying rate for 10 units is Rs 9.17 and the selling rate is Rs 9.21. The Chinese yuan is being traded at Rs 20.48 for buying and Rs 20.56 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal has been fixed at Rs 38.25 for buying and Rs 38.41 for selling, while the Qatari riyal stands at Rs 39.35 for buying and Rs 39.52 for selling.
According to the central bank, the Thai baht is priced at Rs 4.62 for buying and Rs 4.64 for selling. The UAE dirham has been fixed at Rs 39.06 for buying and Rs 39.23 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit stands at Rs 35.44 for buying and Rs 35.59 for selling. The South Korean won, for 100 units, is priced at Rs 9.93 for buying and Rs 9.97 for selling. The Swedish krona has been fixed at Rs 15.64 for buying and Rs 15.70 for selling, while the Danish krone stands at Rs 22.62 for buying and Rs 22.72 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank has set the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 18.46 and the selling rate at Rs 18.54. The Kuwaiti dinar is being traded at Rs 466.96 for buying and Rs 468.92 for selling. The Bahraini dinar has been fixed at Rs 380.36 for buying and Rs 381.95 for selling. The Omani riyal stands at Rs 372.64 for buying and Rs 374.20 for selling. Likewise, the buying rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as needed. The rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the updated exchange rates will be available on the central bank’s website.
