Carlsberg is sending the autographed footballs to the top of the world, Mount Everest.Sandeep Rai, vice-captain of the Nepal national football team, said during the launch, "On behalf of all football players, I am very grateful to Carlsberg for initiating this innovative autograph campaign."
"It is a proud moment for all Nepalese that Carlsberg is sending autographs of great Liverpool players like Lambert, along with the autographs of its consumers to the top of the world and Nepal's pride, Mount Everest," he added.
Likewise, expressing her excitement, Miss Nepal 2010 Sadikshya Shrestha said, "Being on top of the world is everyone's dream and Carlsberg is providing this unique opportunity to take the autographs of its consumers to the top of Mount Everest. This in itself is an ultimate dream come true for all Nepalis. Autograph is something very personal and unique. So our autographs being sent to the top of the world is a great moment for us all. Football has a universal appeal and connecting with general public through this unique idea is commendable."
Carlsberg is providing a line-up of exciting consumer engaging activities at selected outlets for the next 4 weeks. Carlsberg consumers can be part of this campaign and can get a chance to provide their autographs from any of the 2000 outlets across Nepal.
