The players were selected from among 2,850 players across the nation by national coaches Bhim Thapa, Ashok KC and Rajukaji Shakya among others. [break]
The selected players will be provided free education, accommodation and food during their four-year training.
The players selected for the project are Pawan Karki and Ram Limbu from Jhapa, Parbat Subba, Pravin Pariyar and Avishek Rijal from Kathmandu, Kapil Prajapati and Prabin Shrestha from Bhaktapur, Ram Chandra Baji and Bishal Chandra Baji from Dhankuta, Suraj Thapa and Sanju Paudel from Kaski, Bikash Lama and Raju Shahi from Kavre, Gaurav Man Shakya from Palpa and Bigyan Rumba from Makawanpur.
