FNJ to probe attack on Ghimire

KATHMANDU, Aug 29: Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) on Sunday formed a panel to investigate into the attack on Dharan-based reporter Lila Nath Ghimire.



The panel led by FNJ vice president Govinda Acharya comprises Kishor Kumar Karki, Shiva Hari Bhattarai and Mohan Bhandari as its members. The panel will make public its report after interacting with all individuals involved in the incident.



Ghimire, a reporter with Fast Times daily, was attacked by Thaman Gurung reportedly at the behest of SSP Mingmar Lama.
