FNJ general convention calendar out

KATHMANDU, Aug 19: The general convention calendar of the Federation of Nepali Journalists has been made public. 

According to the calendar, name list of voters will be published at 10 am on Saturday. The time between 10.00 am to 12.00 noon the same day is set for protesting the voters' name list if any, while one can counter protest over the name list from 3 pm to 4 pm. 

The committee will make public the final name list of voters at 3:45 pm on Saturday. 

Nomination of candidates will take place at Nepal Academy at Kamaladhi from 12 pm to 3 pm tomorrow (Sunday). Voting will be held from 9 am to 3 pm on Monday, said Election Committee Coordinator Chiranjivi Khanal. 

Vote counting will take place at the FNJ central office. The 25th National General Convention of the FNJ will pick a new 45-member central working committee for three years. Around 1,515 representatives will participate in the voting for new leadership. RSS
