FM Rana and SAARC Secretary General Sarwar discuss regional cooperation and future plans

KATHMANDU, Aug 13: Various aspects of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) were discussed during a meeting between Nepal’s Foreign Minister (FM) Dr Arzu Rana Deuba and SAARC Secretary General Muhammad Gholam Sarwar.

KATHMANDU, Aug 13: Various aspects of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) were discussed during a meeting between Nepal’s Foreign Minister (FM) Dr Arzu Rana Deuba and SAARC Secretary General Muhammad Gholam Sarwar.


During the courtesy meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday, Secretary General Sarwar provided updates on SAARC activities and expressed his appreciation for Nepal’s role as the current chair of SAARC. He also congratulated FM Rana for assuming the role of chair of the SAARC Council of Ministers.
