KATHMANDU, Jan 13: FlyDubai has resumed flights to the Gautam Buddha International Airport (GBIA) starting today after a month-long break.
A flydubai plane landed at Bhairahawa at 2 pm on Monday, carrying 174 passengers from Dubai. Of these, 63 passengers were supposed to disembark in Bhairahawa, while the remaining 80 will continue to Kathmandu, according to a company representative.
Calibration flights at GBIA from today
The flight includes 11 passengers in business class, six of whom will land in Bhairahawa.
General Sales Agent (GSA) of flydubai in Nepal is Universal Tours and Travel. The airline has received approval for a daily schedule on the Dubai-Bhairahawa-Kathmandu route.
Thai AirAsia is currently operating flights at Gautam Buddha Airport based on passenger demand.
