The three-day event was organized by Agribusiness Promotion and Marketing Development Directorate (APMDD) in association with the Floriculture Association Nepal (FAN). According to the organizers, the event drew a total of 22,350 visitors. [break]
The event became successful as it provided a good platform for entrepreneurs involved in the floriculture business and became preferred choice of those people wanting to decorate their homes with flowers during Tihar, the organizers said.
The main objective of the expo, which featured 28 stalls, was to promote Chrysanthemum during Tihar. However, the event also showcased seasonal flowers, decorative plants, cut flowers, dry flowers, seeds, fertilizers and pesticides, agricultural tools and packaging materials, among others.
China-South Asia Expo concludes
