The dead body of Laxmeshwar Yadav´s only son was found near a pond in the village Tuesday afternoon.[break]
According to the boy´s father, someone had tried to murder his uncle, indicating that someone was trying to harm the family. After Dipesh disappeared last Saturday, family members searched for him in the neighborhood, neighboring villages and even paddy farms. They informed the police after being unable to find the boy.
The boy´s father said the media was not informed about the abduction as relatives advised against it. He added that the district police superintendent was informed about the boy´s disappearance a day after he went missing.
“We waited, expecting someone to call and demand ransom. We hoped to see our son after paying the ransom. But there was no call,” said Laxmeshwar.
Superintendent of Police Dinesh Amatya said investigations have been intensified. However, the police are clueless about the motive of the murder.
According to police, there are stab wounds all over Dipesh´s body.
