ITAHARI, Aug 21: As many as five women were arrested with illegal marijuana from Bishnupadu area of Dharan on Saturday. 

The police arrested the five women along with two men while transporting marijuana to Dharan for sale and distribution. The police on suspicion decided to frisk the women heading towards Dharan from Manebanjyang intersection with bags. 

The women were carrying packets of marijuana weighing 39 kilos, Area Police Office, Dharan said. 

They have been kept at the Area Police Office, Dharan for necessary investigation, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Dekendra Khatiwada said. RSS
