Five parties jointly protest govt's move

NUWAKOT, June 6: Among the struggling parties against the step of the Prime Minister, five parties in Nuwakot district organized a joint protest program on Wednesday.



The political parties organized a rally from Battar to Bidur today in connection with intensifying protests in various districts.The parties said that declaring the new election to the CA through unconstitutional way by dissolving the CA was with an intention of the government to capture power.[break]



The Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, Rastriya Prajatantrik Party (RPP), Rastriya Janashakti Party (RJP) and CPN (ML) jointly launched agitation against the step of the government.



Nuwakot district president of NC, Jagadishwor Narsingh KC, District Chairman of the CPN-UML, Narayan Prasad Khatiwada, District Chairman of RPP, Bharat Pathak, District Chairman of RJP, Jhanak Bahadur Pyakurel and District Secretary of the CPN (ML) Pallavraj Pathak addressed the assembly, which was organized after the rally.



Speakers at the program said that the government could not protect the life and property of people and added that security situation has been deteriorated day by day.



Requesting all to launch agitation with unity against the unconstitutional step of the government, they stressed on foiling the UCPN (Maoist)´s strategy to capture power.
