Five hardened terrorists associated with LeT, JeM killed on May 7 Indian airstrikes

In the early hours of May 7, under the cover of darkness, Indian Armed Forces launched Operation Sindoor and took swift and decisive military action targeting terror launchpads in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (Pok), as reported by The Deccan Herald (DH).

In the early hours of May 7, under the cover of darkness, Indian Armed Forces launched Operation Sindoor and took swift and decisive military action targeting terror launchpads in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (Pok), as reported by The Deccan Herald (DH).


At least five hardcore terrorists affiliated to banned terror outfits Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed have been identified as among those killed in the Indian strikes in Pakistan under Operation Sindoor on that day.


The names of the deceased terrorists are as follows.


Mudassar Khadian Khas


Mudassar Khadian Khas aka Mudassar alias Abu Jundal was affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba. Khas's funeral prayer was held in a government school, led by Hafiz Abdul Rauf of JuD (a designated global terrorist).

A serving Lt General of the Pak Army and the IG of Punjab Police attended the prayer ceremony. Wreaths on behalf of the Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz were laid at his funeral.


Khas was in-charge of Markaz Taiba, in Muridke and received a guard of honour at his funeral by the Pakistan Army.


Mohammad Yusuf Azhar


Mohammad Yusuf Azhar alias Ustad Ji alias Mohd Salim alias Ghosi Sahab was a part of terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed. He was Maulana Masood Azhar' s brother-in-law and handled weapons training for JeM.


He was wanted in the IC-814 hijacking case and was involved in multiple terrorist attacks in Jammu & Kashmir.


Hafiz Muhammed Jameel


Jameel was affiliated Jaish-e-Mohammed. He was the eldest brother of Maulana Masood Azhar and was in-charge of Markaz Subhan Allah, Bahawalpur


He was also actively involved in radical indoctrination of youth and fundraising for JeM.


Khalid alias Abu Akasha


Khalid alias Abu Akasha is affiliated with Lashkar-e-Taiba and involved in multiple terrorist attacks in Jammu & Kashmir.


He was engaged in weapons smuggling from Afghanistan. His funeral was held in Faisalabad, attended by senior Pakistani Army officials and the Deputy Commissioner of Faisalabad


Mohammad Hassan Khan


Mohammad Hassan Khan was affiliated with Jaish-e-Mohammed. He was the son of Mufti Asghar Khan Kashmiri, operational commander of JeM in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).


He played a key role in coordinating terrorist attacks in Jammu & Kashmir.
