A child drowned at Chainpur-7 in Chitwan district. The two-year-old son of Ram Bahadur BK drowned while playing at home, said police.
Likewise, Prakash Chandra Poudel of Bharatpur, Chitwan, who seriously injured after a bus hit him died while undergoing treatment.
According to our Dang correspondent, two persons were swept away by flood in Gyarkhola in the district.
The deceased have been identified as Ananda Acharya, 27, of Tulsipur municipality-6 and Ramesh Chaudhary, 17, of ward no. 6 of the municipality, said police. Their bodies were found Sunday morning.
Similarly, Dil Bahadur Nepali, 60, of Musikot VDC-7 of Gulmi district has been missing after falling from a suspension bridge while crossing Badhigadhkhola in the district. Locals and police have been searching for the missing.
Meanwhile, a woman died on the spot when a tractor hit her at Satasidham VDC in Jhapa district Saturday night. The deceased has been identified as Nandakumari Limbu, 42, of Domukhagaun of the same VDC, said police. Police have taken under control to the tractor and the driver.
