Five held on charge of planting pressure cooker bomb

DAMAK, July 6: Police has arrested five persons from Kankai bridge on the charge of planting a pressure cooker bomb.

DAMAK, July 6: Police has arrested five persons from Kankai bridge on the charge of planting a pressure cooker bomb.


District Police Office, Jhapa has already started the investigation into the incident.

Those who were arrested include Dipesh Neupane, 27, a resident of Haldibari-7, Chauhan Saila, 64, a local of Sibhasatakchi-10, Sanjaya Kharel, 42, an inhabitant of Damak-1, Kamal Koirala, 21, a resident of Sundarharaicha-7 and Manish Majhi, 19, a local of Jharsaadi tole.


Police have filed a lawsuit against them, informed DPO spokesperson Mahendra Kumar Shrestha.
