Five arrested for jewelry theft

PALPA, Sept 9: Five persons have been arrested on charges of jewelry theft in Gulmi on Tuesday.



Three persons who had stolen an earring belonging to Parvati Gyawali of Bamgha VDC-4 were arrested on Tuesday evening. The arrested are Babu Sahu, Gaya Sahu and Sitaram Sahu of Jharkhand, India, Shringa Police Post said. Likewise, Area Police Office Ridi arrested two others from Baletaksar in Ranibas the same day.



All five are members from the same group, chief of Area Police Office Ridi Suvas Gaire said. He added that the police were searching for other members of the gang.
