KATHMANDU, April 3: Nepal ‘A’ are playing against Ireland Wolves today in the first one-day practice match.


The match will start at 9:30 AM at the TU Cricket Ground. This match is part of a series of three one-day matches between Nepal and Ireland Wolves.


In the previous two T20 matches against the senior team, Ireland faced defeat in both encounters. However, Ireland Wolves managed to secure victory in the three-match T20 series against Nepal ‘A’ with a 2-1 scoreline.

Nepal ‘A's lineup boasts first-choice ODI players such as Aarif Sheikh and Bhim Sarki. Aarif Sheikh's impressive 93-run innings led Nepal ‘A’ to victory in the third T20 match. Additionally, the team includes players like Binod Bhandari, Dev Khanal, and Arjun Saud.


On the bowling front, Nepal ‘A’ features Kamal Singh Airee, Regan Dahal, and Mausam Dhakal. Anticipations are high for a competitive match between Nepal and Ireland.


Key batsmen for Ireland include Peter Moor, Gareth Delaney, and captain Neil Rock. The second match is slated for Friday, followed by the third match on Sunday. Meanwhile, the senior team is engaged in a match against Gujarat in India today, commencing at 2:45 PM.
