First-ever religious fair to be held in Gulmi

GULMI, Oct 13: A religious fair is going to be organized between October 17 and 25 for the first time at Purtighat in Gulmi district for in a bid to promote religious tourism.

GULMI, Oct 13: A religious fair is going to be organized between October 17 and 25 for the first time at Purtighat in Gulmi district for in a bid to promote religious tourism. 


The nine-day religious tourism event also aims to establish Kali Gandaki river area as a tourist attraction spot besides preserving the natural beauties as well as religious and cultural heritages of the Purtighat area, according to Religious Fair Publicity Coordinator Agnidhar Parajuli.

The fair organizers are also optimistic that the fair would be successful in giving an impetus to the development of physical infrastructures for the Purtighat, including a modern Ashram for the pilgrims and tourists, shared Publicity Coordinator Parajuli. RSS
