Nepal’s first indigenous film and music award titled ‘Yomo Gang Films and Music Award’ is going to be held on August 7 in Bangkok. Organizing a press meet on Monday, Hukum Multimedia, the main organizer of the event announced the program schedule. DB Bomjan of the multimedia said that the indigenous films and music videos produced from 2073 to 2075 BS can participate in the award. According to the organizers, a total of 63 indigenous films have been produced between these two years. Total 11 awards will be presented in music category and 16 awards in film category.
7th Music Khabar Musical Award held at Biratnagar
Five best films will be nominated by jury for each category which will compete for the finale. Speaking at the press meet former president of Film Development Board, Rajkumar Rai expressed that the main motive of organizing the award is to promote Nepali indigenous films in international market and to increase the national market.
