KATHMANDU, Dec 19: A fire broke out at the Durbarmarg-based 'The Old House Restaurant' in the Capital City on Monday. The fire gutted the interior of the building where the restaurant was located.
It is estimated the fire gutted properties worth Rs 20 million. Security guards had informed police and fire engines following the fire at around 2:30 am. No human casualties were reported as there were no customers and workers at that time.
“The fire gutted all the properties,” DSP Krishna Bahadur Palmi at Metropolitan Police Circle, Durbarmarg told Republica Online, “We are investigating what caused the fire.”
