LAHAN, June 21: A short circuit triggered fire at Lahan Municipality – 1 has gutted properties worth Rs 100,000.
The fire broke out at Jasiram Sadaya's one – story residence and destroyed food commodities, crockery and clothes, police said. The fire was taken under control with a joint effort from the local residents and police, said Area Police Office, Lahan.

Man dies falls to death
Meanwhile, a person has died after falling off an under construction Nepal Telecom tower at Siraha Municipality – 7.
Ramesh Chaudhary, 25, of Rammapurwa Municipality – 7, Bara died in the accident on Tuesday evening. RSS
