The incident occurred at the house of Nilkanth Subadi due to transmission of high-voltage power.
According to Thakur Prasad Sharma, Executive Committee member of Myagdi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, property worth more than 25 lakh rupees including valuable ornaments, one lakh cash and footstock were gutted in the fire.
Due to irregularities and over supply of power, such incidents are frequently occurred in the rural area in the district.
